well, i started jr. guards, and i'm trying out for safety aids this year, which means i get to make sure the little children are safe when they swim the pier, and i can throw dead stingrays at them to make them move faster (thanks for the inspiration mr. murita!) but that's only if i make it. I'm really hoping i do, it's the last year i can do it, cause after that i'll be in college and all that shit, not to mention that i'll be too old... sad day.... but list of things i've done since monday
1. swim the stick buoy
2. 2 mile run
3. 2 pier swims in a row
4. 3 vic's v vic's (it's a run swim run)

plus "behavoir modifications" like soft sand running and many many pushups and lots of running in between

this isn't meant to sound complaining, i love doing it, it's just really intimindating until you actually finish it... although i've done all this before, so i'm not sure why i still get that way, but on the bright side, everyone else does too, so no worries there....
oh, and the pier bit me.. i look like a cutter now....
